097-F04-416 8x57JS “Sporterised” Portuguese M1904/38″ Mauser Rifle

Fitted with Lynx one-piece scope-mount base. The M905 was converted from 6.5x58mm to 8x57mm in 1938 and then placed into reserve. Rifle features open sights to 22″ (558,80mm) barrel, trigger-guard lever magazine floorplate release. Stylishly crafetd stock with horn fore-end tip and chequering to fore-end and pistol grip. Pachmayr Decellerator recoil pad fitted. Good bore, good overall condition.
