Manufactured by DWM Berlin. Low 3-digit serial number. Barrel has also been stamped with a “Jan Smuts” FCA of 1937 number. Schnabel type fore-end, cheekpiece to butt with typical large German silver escutcheon plate to side of butt. Octagonal 27″ (685,80mm) barrel. Enclosed wings to fore-sight, carbine type rear sight. Includes a period leather sling. Rifle has been professionally refinished and is in very good refinished condition. Fair bore.
