Butt socket is marked “Crown V.R. L.S.A. Co. 1893 11”. Rifle is fitted with post-Boer war sight upgrade and front volley sight. Rear volley sight absent. Receiver has British acceptance and disposal stamps plus “UDF” markings. Period replacement BSA barrel. Good original overall, good bore.
