097-F05-468 .303br “Long Lee” Enfield Conversion to S.M.L.E NO.1 MK3 Service Rifle

Right side of butt socket marked “Crown V.R. Enfield 1896 L.E. 1” and left side marked “Enfield 1910 Sht. L.E. Con. 1V”. This was originally a “Long Lee” which was was upgraded to S.M.L.E. status similar to the UDF S.M.L.E’s but this one includes the charger guide. Rifle still has the front volley sight dial plate fitted but the volley sights have been removed. Rifle has military acceptance stamps and UDF ownership stamps. Good bore, good original condition. Includes issue webbing sling.
